Go find your keys because we’ve just found the soundtrack to your next night drive! Iceland-born singer-songwriter Axel Flóvent’s modern folk ballad, “Driving Hours” will whisk you away with his ethereal melodies and moody vocals.

In this moving and emotional song, Flóvent finds himself wondering if the relationship that’s crumbling before him is worth saving. His lyrics reveal a man on the verge of heartbreak asking a series of rhetorical questions even though he knows all the answers. “Are you sad?/Can you really think about it?” the artist croons with a heavy heart.

The talented musician has spent a good portion of his life traveling around Europe living in Amsterdam and Brighton only to find himself returning to Iceland where he is now based. Flóvent spent those years searching for clarity and based on the maturity of his music now, it seems that he has found a clear path.
